10.5.05 ... Abby Y. Fairbank named Director of Operations at AIHF Native of Raleigh ; both parents in healthcare. BS in Biology from UNC-CH & MPH from GW. Worked at CRPF and American Red Cross; ACS volunteer.

5.5.05 ... Dr. Eric Morse elected President of the International Society for Sport Psychiatry Dr. Eric Morse has been elected President of the International Society for Sport Psychiatry. Dr. Morse works with youth, collegiate, and professional athletes; he completed his Psychiatry Residency at UNC-CH and will relocate his practice to AIHF upon opening. Congratulations from your colleagues at AIHF!

4.18.05 ... Construction begins today on the flagship AIHF facility in North Raleigh Mason Williams, Developer of the North Raleigh AIHF Facility, announces the beginning of the construction process with projected opening in late August 2006. The building will be steel frame with tilt-up concrete exterior walls. The site plan maximizes preservation of the natural beauty of the land and minimizes any impact upon neighboring properties, including a storm water system designed to control on-site runoff to pre-development levels for up to the 100 year flood event.

10.1.04 ... Hoar Construction selected to build AIHF North Raleigh Facility Hoar Construction is the newest member of the AIHF team. Based in Birmingham Alabama and operating throughout the U.S., their annual volume exceeds $400M, of which $80M is in healthcare; perennially rated in the top 10 healthcare contractors in the country. 4.2.04 ... Cisco signs on as initial Executive Center client The Executive Health Center of AIHF is honored to announce Cisco Systems, Inc. is our initial client for the Executive Corporate Healthcare & Fitness Program. Thirty of their executives from across the country will enter our program in 2004. The Center will provide primary and preventive care services to mission critical individuals, including medical management and focused consultative services. Disease prevention and lifestyle modification are the framework for this new approach to total well-being.
