AIHF Raleigh is the flagship facility of AIHF. It is 181,000 state-of-the-art sq ft, situated on 16.5 acres of picturesque rolling terrain in Raleigh, North Carolina, overlooking a tranquil 5-acre lake. The land is steeped in history, previously owned by the prominent Williams and Shaw families who have significantly contributed to the growth of Raleigh and North Carolina. Opened 27 January 2007, AIHF Raleigh is configured as follows.
Floor 3: Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Medical Nutrition Therapy, Lipidology, Age Management, Executive Health Center, AIHF Executive Offices
Floor 2: Counseling Center, Healthcare Staffing, Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, Pharmacy, Gastroenterology, Endoscopy Center, General Surgery, Prosthetics & Orthotics, Dental Health Center, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Lab, Radiology, AIHF Property Offices

AIHF is designed to complement the natural beauty of the land, to be pristine and accreditation standard in patient services areas, and yet to have a comfortable resort feel and a more residential than institutional look. There are six entrances, facilitating access at each of the floor levels including from a three-story garage, which is designed to blend with the gabled and pediment wings of the main structure. Throughout the building, every effort was made to provide large views to the outside, to make the land and building one. Each provider was invited to design their own space and to participate in the planning of the shared spaces. The collaborative and integrated features that define the AIHF concept were also applied to the design of the flagship facility and to the selection of the providers.
