In honor of National Athletic Training Month, AIHF would like to recognize members of its medical family-Certified Athletic Trainers (ATCs). During March, Athletic Trainers across America are being recognized for their commitment to helping people prevent injuries, staying healthy, and remaining active. Athletic Trainers are Allied Healthcare professionals. Highly educated and dedicated to the job at hand, Athletic Trainers can be found in various settings, including high schools, colleges, corporations, professional sports, the military, performing arts, hospitals, clinics, and physicians offices. “Athletic Trainers Save Lives” is the theme of this year’s National Athletic Training Month, which is sponsored by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA), a not-for-profit organization based in Dallas, Texas.
